Rice for Freezing setting and 15-minute quick cooking recipes that help you cook your own meals on busy days

15-minute quick cooking recipes

A quick temperature increase is achieved in the rice cooker, allowing you to cook quick-cooking recipes that can be completed in 15 minutes.
Customizing recipes to cook with the rice cooker enables you to prepare a full-course meal from a main dish to soup including boiled fish and baked food. The rice cooker helps expand your repertoire of menu options.

Rice for Freezing setting

A program to cook delicious rice for freezing is provided to meet the needs of people living alone, such as those who wish to freeze leftover rice or cook a large amount of rice at one time and freeze it.
In order to prevent defrosted cooked rice from being pasty or hard, the rice is given a longer time to absorb water in this menu setting than in the White Rice setting, so that the cooked rice will not be pasty but plump to the core and the delicious flavor can be kept after the rice is frozen.

The “Amazake” and “Barley Rice” settings that allow you to keep on improving your gut health without compromising eating pleasure

“Amazake” setting

The “Amazake” setting is provided to prepare amazake, popular among health-conscious people. By adding water and malted rice to the rice freshly cooked with the rice cooker and keeping the rice at about 60°C, you can easily make amazake, a drink where it is difficult to control the temperature when making it yourself. You can enjoy making amazake from cooked rice of your choice and ingredients other than white rice, such as barley rice, mixed grains, or glutinous rice with red beans.

[ How to make amazake ]

[1] Add water to the cooked rice and stir well.
[2] Add malted rice (dry) and stir well.
[3] Select the “Amazake” setting, set a cooking time, and press the Cook key.
[4] Cooking is completed.

[ Variant recipes of amazake ]

You can not only drink the amazake made with the rice cooker but also use it as a seasoning instead of sugar or sweet sake.

“Barley Rice” setting

In the Barley Rice settings specialized for cooking white rice with barley rich in soluble fiber, the rice cooking programs tailored to the characteristics of barley allow its characteristic odor to be suppressed and delicious taste to be brought out so that you can eat barley rice every day.
The barley measuring cup allows you to choose between “10% barley,” which is a good place to start, and “30% barley,” which does wonders for your health. The inner pot has a water scale specially designed for barley rice, enabling you to easily cook delicious barley rice.
