<Examples of cooking procedures that must not be done>

      • Cooking a paste-like meal using “curry or stew roux”
      • Cooking a meal using baking soda that can produce foam rapidly
      • Cooking a meal that is specified to be cooked with a commercially available rice cooker in a recipe book
      • Cooking a meal using tomatoes with their skin or leaf vegetables that can block the steam vent
      • eating ingredients and seasonings in a plastic bag
      • Using a cooking sheet, aluminum foil, or food wrap that can block the steam vent
      • Using beans such as pastes and boiled beans or noodles that can increase the bulk
      • Cooking a meal using a large amount of oil
      • Cooking small grains that easily clog such as amaranth
    • Never open the lid during cooking.

Doing so may cause the contents to boil over, resulting in a scald or injury.
If you open the lid during cooking from necessity, make sure that the pressure indication on the operation panel goes off and no steam is emitted before opening the lid.

    • If you need to open and close the lid during cooking, follow the steps below.

      1. Ensure that there is no one near the steam cap.
      2. Press the Cancel key to stop cooking.

*Be careful as hot steam comes out quickly from the steam vent.

      3. Wait for about two minutes. Make sure that the pressure indication goes off and no steam comes out and then press the open/lock button.

*Opening the lid immediately after pressing the Cancel key may cause you to get scalded.

    • The product has other problems or fault conditions.

    Always follow the instructions.

    • Do not allow children to use the product alone and do not use the product within reach of infants.

Failure to observe the instruction may cause an injury or electric shock.

    • Do not heat the main unit or griddle plate on a stove burner.

Doing so may cause the main unit to burn or the griddle plate to be deformed and become unusable.

    • Remove foreign matter and dirt.

If the product is used with foreign matter or dirt on the back of the griddle plate, heat insulating board, heater, or temperature probe, the product will be heated abnormally, causing a table to be burnt or resulting in failure of the product. When the heat insulating board loses luster, contact the store where the product was purchased to replace it with a new one as soon as possible.

    • Do not block the exhaust holes on the bottom of the main unit guard.

If paper such as newspaper is laid under the main unit guard, the exhaust holes on the bottom of the guard may be blocked. If the product is used with the paper laid under the guard, it will be heated abnormally, causing a fire or failure of the product.

    • Do not use the product without the heat insulating board or griddle plate set on the main unit.

Using the heater directly set on the main unit may cause a burn or fire.

    • Do not forcibly insert the temperature probe of the temperature controller directly into the heater alone.

Doing so may cause a fire or burn or a table to get burnt. It may also cause failure of the product.

If any of the following symptoms appears, stop using the product and see the instruction manual, and then ask for inspection as necessary.

    • The hot water gets cold. Or the cold drink gets lukewarm.

    • The exterior of the main body is hot.

    Always follow the instructions.

    • Do not topple, drop, hit, or apply a strong impact (particularly in the vertical direction) to the product.

    • Keep the product out of reach of infants. Be extremely careful not to allow children to fool around with the product.

    • Do not carry the table water boiler tilted. Doing so may cause the contents to spill along the air space provided in the inner plug or cause a scald.

  • Always follow the instructions.

    • Keep the product out of reach of infants. Be extremely careful not to allow children to fool around with the product.

Failure to observe the instruction may cause a scald.

    • If a hot drink is put in a bottle with an inner plug, do not drink it directly from the bottle but make sure to use a cup to drink it.

Failure to observe the instruction may cause a scald.

    • Do not use the product for any purposes other than keeping drinks hot or cold.

    • Do not swing the bottle by holding its belt. It poses the danger of harming someone or damaging an object if it hits them.

    • Do not bring a hot kettle into contact with the shoulder of a bottle.

Doing so may cause the bottle to topple, resulting in a scald. It may also cause damage to or deformation of the product.

    • Check whether the gaskets are attached to the inner plug, cap unit, lid, and other parts properly.

If any of the gaskets is missing or not attached in the right position, the contents may leak and soil other things.

    • Do not topple, drop, hit, or apply a strong impact to the bottle.

The surface may get dented, the insulation effectiveness may be lost, or the contents may leak. If the main body is damaged, it may rust or the coating may come off when it is cleaned. When the product is opened after a strong vibration in the vertical direction is applied to it, the inner pressure will increase and the contents may spout out of the bottle, causing a scald.

    • Do not put dry ice or a carbonated drink in the bottle.

The inner pressure will increase, and this may prevent the inner plug from being opened, cause the contents to spout out, or cause the inner plug or cup to be broken and the fragments scattered.

*Vacuum insulated carbonated bottles can be used for carbonated beverages.

    • Do not put milk, a milk-based drink, or fruit juice in the bottle.

The contents may go off or spoil. If it is let to stand for a long time, a gas will be produced from the rotten or spoilt contents and the inner pressure of the main body will increase. This may prevent the inner plug from being opened, cause the contents to spout out, or cause the inner plug or cup to be broken and the fragments scattered.
