1. Lock function *1
Hot water spillage is minimized if the kettle tips over.
2. Electric-powered dispensing with auto-lock function*1
The water boiler is automatically locked a while after dispensing.
3. VE bottle structure
The structure prevents the main body from getting hot.
4. Prevention of empty burning
The product detects when it boils dry and shuts off power automatically, eliminating worries about forgetting to put water in the pot before plugging it in.
5. Tilt lock function *1
Hot water spillage is minimized if the kettle is tilted.
6. Steamless feature
The steam-catcher structure is incorporated, which prevents steam from being let out.

“For electric-powered dispensing”
Even when the operation keys are in the locked state (dispensing function is disabled), tilting or tipping over the main body may cause hot water to come out from the spout resulting in a scald.

Even when the dispense button stopper is in the locked state (dispensing function is disabled), tilting or tipping over the main body may cause the hot water to come out from the spout resulting in a scald.
Power-saving VE insulation for boiling plenty of water and keeping it warm with VE insulation
VE is an abbreviation of vacuum electric. The power-saving VE insulation is an economical method of keeping water warm using electric heating and the high-vacuum, double-walled bottle. The high-vacuum, double-walled bottle (VE bottle structure/stainless steel) container has a reliable structure that allows the hot water inside to be kept warm even after the product is unplugged. The hot water is kept at about at least 90°C even when 2 hours have elapsed after the product is unplugged! (For PIS-A301) (The hot water in the product gets cold as time passes after it is unplugged.)
Two ways to dispense hot water: electric-powered dispensing and cordless air dispensing
Two ways of electric-powered dispensing and cordless air dispensing are available to dispense hot water.
When the product is plugged, you can select two ways to dispense hot water with one finger by choosing the lever-type electric-powered dispensing; at a place where there is no power source, you can use the air dispensing to dispense hot water.
The air dispensing feature allows you to dispense hot water from the product unplugged, so that you can dispense hot water in a garden or balcony away from a power source.

Easy-to-operate lever-type electric-powered dispensing
The lever-type electric-powered dispensing that can work with a light touch is used.
You can dispense hot water from the product easily by just touching the key.

On the orange clear LCD, the displayed items and characters are clear and easy to see.
Indication of minutes till boil
The indication shows the (estimated) remaining time until water boils.
Advanced power-saving functions
Energy-saving course to save electricity in boiling and keeping warm
[Power-saving boiling]
The heater is turned off before water boils and the water is kept warm. That is, the product boils water while shortening the boiling time to save electricity
*The water temperature at the end of boiling is about 98°C.
[Power-saving heat retention]
If the product is not used for at least 2 hours, the temperature of the hot water inside is automatically maintained at 5 degrees below the set temperature to save electricity while keeping the water hot.
*If any of the keys is operated during power-saving heat retention, the temperature returns to the set temperature.
Selection of temperatures for keeping warm
Hot water temperature can be adjusted to the desired one (98/90/80).
The lower the selected temperature is, the more money you can save on electricity.
You can choose the optimum temperature for the purpose of use, such as preparations before starting cooking or making some coffee or tea.
Keeping warm with vacuum insulation course
The boiled water is kept warm by the insulation of the high-vacuum, double-walled bottle (VE bottle structure/stainless steel) without using electricity.

Power-saving timer
The power-saving timer settings are offered, and you can choose from them depending on the time of day when you do not use the product, when you are out, or before you go to bed.
The heater is automatically turned off but the water is kept warm with vacuum insulation.
It can be set to 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 hours, and one hour before the timer expires, it will switch to keep warm by boiling water.

Winning the Kids Design Award
The safety of the VE (vacuum electric) bottle without a steam vent was highly evaluated and the product won the Kids Design Award
The product adopts the mechanism that requires no special preparation or maintenance and prevents steam from being released even if it is used in the same way as the previous electric water boilers.
The mechanism prevents hot steam from being released to outside of the main body, eliminating worries about scalding a child even if they put their hand over the product. This consideration for safety was highly evaluated.
*Our previous product, the PIS-A220・A300, won the award in 2017 and received approval from the Kids Design Council for changes in specifications in 2023.
