When Is It Time to Replace My Bottle?
If you’ve been using your personal bottle for many years, do you ever wonder when it’s time to replace it? Today, we’ll answer that simple question.

Recommended Time for Replacement

The short answer is: When you notice a decline in its heat or cold retention.
Specifically, the heat and cold retention capabilities decrease when the double-walled vacuum structure of the inner container is compromised.
Here, we will explain the main causes.
Causes of Decreased Heat and Cold Retention

- Rust from washing the entire bottle (excluding models that are fully washable).
- Dents from dropping or impacts, or damage to welded parts.
It is likely that the double-walled vacuum structure of the inner container has been compromised by these factors.
When you carry your bottle every day, it’s common to bump or drop it. In such cases, check the bottle for dents or distortions.
We will also introduce a method to check if the heat insulation is still effective.
How to Check the Heat Insulation Effect

- Fill the bottle completely with boiling water.
- After about 5 minutes, touch the outside of the bottle, from the center down to the bottom.
- If the body of the bottle feels hot, the heat insulation effect (保温効力) is lost. Please stop using it.
When checking, always touch the area from the center to the bottom of the bottle. Even if the upper part of the bottle feels hot, this may be because heat from the inner bottle is transferring to the upper part of the outer bottle through the mouth area, and it cannot be determined if the heat insulation is ineffective.
