Apology and Notice Regarding the Voluntary Recall of the “Lid Unit” for Electric Kettle Model PCS-A
Thank you for your continued patronage of our products.
It has come to our attention that some of our Electric Kettles (models PCS-A080 and PCS-A100) manufactured between March 9 and May 21, 2026, may have a defective internal lid component. This defect prevents the water-stop mechanism from functioning adequately, which could cause hot water exceeding standard safety limits to leak if the kettle is tipped over. Please note that, to date, there have been no reported accidents resulting from this issue.
Consequently, to ensure your safety and prevent any potential accidents, we have decided to implement a voluntary recall and replacement of the affected “lid units.”
We kindly ask customers who own the affected products to immediately stop using them and contact our dedicated support desk listed below.

*Please ensure the inner container is completely empty of hot water before checking.
*Turning the kettle upside down while it contains hot water may cause it to spill, resulting in potential burns.
Lot Number Structure
Please check your lot number to determine if it falls within the affected manufacturing period.
Products with an “Inspected” (検査済) sticker are exempt from this recall, regardless of the lot number.
