Bring the cream cheese to room temperature and lightly butter the inner pot.
【Making Caramel】
Place the caramel ingredients in a small saucepan over high heat. Swirl the pan to dissolve the sugar and ensure the color develops evenly.
Heat 2 until it turns a rich brown color, then turn off the heat and quickly pour it into the inner pot.
【Making the Pudding Mixture】
Place the cream cheese and granulated sugar in a bowl and mix well. Once smooth, add the eggs one at a time, beating well with a whisk after each addition.
Add the heavy cream to step 4 and mix until combined. Once smooth, add the milk and vanilla oil and mix well.
Strain the mixture through a sieve, gently pour it into the inner pot, place it in the main unit, and close the lid.
Select the “Manual: Slow,Low” setting, set the heating time to 3 hours, and press “START/SET”.
Once done, remove the inner pot and let it cool. Once it has cooled slightly, cover it with plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator.
Once cooled, invert the pudding onto a large plate, slice it, and arrange the portions on serving dishes. Garnish with mint leaves if desired.
Adding cream cheese prevents the mixture from becoming grainy and ensures a smooth texture.
