Far-infrared 3 layer ceramic coated inner pot
The inner pot with the three-layer metal structure is heated efficiently.
The far-infrared radiation effect enhanced by the far-infrared ceramic coating helps moisture be distributed evenly to every grain to cook fluffy sticky rice.
Premium High-heat Powerful IH
Premium High-heat Powerful IH that brings out the original sweetness and flavors of rice. The bottom and wall of the inner pot are heated as if the entire inner pot was encompassed by a strong fire so that the cooked rice can be plump to the core. The rice is also steamed at high temperatures of about 110 to 115°C, which accelerates gelatinization of the rice to bring out the original sweetness and flavor of the rice.
TSUBUDACHI keep warm
The rice cooker uses a vapor sensor to detect the amount of water evaporating from the rice and control the rise in temperature even while keeping the cooked rice warm, enabling the amount of the evaporating water to be maintained at the optimum level. This allows the moisture to be contained in the rice and the shape of the rice grains to be retained so that the rice can be kept warm and fluffy for hours.
3-year warranty on the inner pot (inner side)
The warranty applies to the coating on the inner surface of the inner pot. It does not cover damage resulting from failure to follow the guidelines in the instruction manual.

“Frozen Rice” setting
By allowing for a longer water absorption time than the standard “Plain rice” menu, this setting cooks the rice to be beautifully plump and fluffy right to the core while minimizing stickiness. This meticulous process ensures that the delicious flavor and texture of freshly cooked rice are perfectly preserved, ready for you to enjoy anytime.
“Small Portion and Quick” setting
On this setting, rice can be cooked in a minimum of about 15 minutes.
Enjoy freshly cooked rice even on busy days.
*For JPW-J180, the minimum amount of 1 go of rice can be cooked in as quickly as about 17 minutes.
“Premium” setting
This luxurious setting brings out all of the sweetness, springiness, aroma, stickiness, and softness that define delicious rice.
“Rice ball” setting
This setting allows you to cook springy rice that is delicious even when eaten cold, making it suitable for rice balls.
“Brown Rice” setting
This setting produces plump, delicious brown rice, which is usually difficult to cook with the right amount of water and heat.
“Mixed Grains” setting
This setting produces plump, delicious rice with mixed grains, which is usually difficult to cook in consideration of the right amount of water absorbed. You can easily take in abundant nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber.
“Semi-Polished Rice” setting
Features a dedicated setting for “Semi-Polished Rice,” harmonizing the rich nutritional value of Brown Rice with the appetizing, easy-to-eat texture of White Rice. This specialized setting refines the characteristic texture of partially milled grains, cooking them to a perfectly fluffy and plump finish.
