Tiger Corporation (CEO: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka), a global leader in thermal control technology, will pre-release a new web commercial on Wednesday, August 26, for its Vacuum Insulated Bottles, which feature an astonishingly lightweight design achieved through proprietary technology. The commercial will subsequently air on TV nationwide starting Tuesday, September 1.
For this new commercial, So Immersed, So Light. Solo Camping Edition, we resonated with Mr. Matsuzaka’s active lifestyle and his dedication to immersive hobbies, proudly appointing him as the image character for Tiger Corporation’s bottles. Taking on solo camping for the very first time, Matsuzaka appeared thoroughly relaxed in a highly realistic “real forest” set meticulously crafted by our art staff. Strolling around the set during breaks, he approached the shoot with such an incredibly natural demeanor that even he was surprised, describing it as the most “laid-back” time he has ever experienced on a commercial set.
Amidst this peaceful atmosphere, what shocked Matsuzaka the most was the bottle’s lightness. The moment he picked up the product, he was constantly amazed, remarking, “This is the lightest water bottle I’ve ever held.” When staff members engaged him, rather than piling on words, he playfully and silently held out the bottle, trying to share that astonishing lightness. The set was enveloped in a harmonious vibe from start to finish—please look forward to seeing Mr. Matsuzaka at his most natural.
Tiger Corporation’s Vacuum Insulated Bottles feature an inner bottle that has been thinned to the absolute limit using our original spinning process. This has achieved an astonishing Lightweight design, bringing the Mujuryoku bottle experience to life. Furthermore, it features a Stopper with the integrated gasket. By additionally applying the Super Clean Plus finish, which makes the interior highly resistant to stains and odors, we focused on ensuring a “light and effortless” experience—not only when using the bottle, but also when washing it.
His unfiltered, genuine expressions captured in this laid-back atmosphere are a must-see. We invite you to watch this heartwarming video that perfectly expresses the effortless lightness of the Mujuryoku bottle, designed to warmly accompany your everyday life.

Commercial Planning Overview & Highlights
Tiger’s original “Mujuryoku” achieves a truly magical lightness. Coupled with the “Stopper with the integrated gasket”—which seamlessly combines the gasket and stopper into one—this product symbolizes the reliable vacuum insulation technology that Tiger has meticulously refined for over a century. It delivers Premium Quality and a completely stress-free experience, from the moment you use it to the moment you wash it.
In the new commercial, So Immersed, So Light., actor Tori Matsuzaka takes on his first-ever solo camping trip. Known for his deeply immersive hobbies, such as brewing coffee and making handmade soba, Mr. Matsuzaka effortlessly portrayed someone who lightheartedly embraces new challenges and finds himself naturally captivated by the moment.
In the peg-driving scene, which captures the endearing charm of a solo camping beginner, he carefully pursued an “intentional awkwardness,” consulting closely with the director on precise angles and the amount of force to apply. His relatable, authentic enjoyment of camping brings a gentle warmth to the entire commercial.
In the closing scene, holding the Mujuryoku bottle in hand, Matsuzaka softly savors the luxury of time spent fully immersed.

Behind the Scenes / Shooting Episodes
● “This is the lightest water bottle I’ve ever held” – Surprised throughout the shoot
During the shoot, upon holding the product, Mr. Matsuzaka exclaimed in genuine amazement at its overwhelming lightness, saying, “This is the lightest water bottle I’ve ever held.” When a staff member instinctively asked, “Is it really that light?”, instead of piling on words, Matsuzaka silently and smoothly handed the bottle over to share its astonishing lightness. Seeing the staff member’s surprised reaction—”It really is!”—he smiled with warm satisfaction. The set was enveloped in a harmonious and inviting atmosphere from start to finish.

● Intrigued by the highly realistic forest set! Strolling around as if on a real walk
Mr. Matsuzaka’s eyes sparkled constantly at the highly realistic “real forest” set, meticulously crafted in the studio by our dedicated art staff. During his wait times, he approached the shoot with a completely relaxed demeanor, strolling around the set as if he were enjoying a walk through an actual campground.

● Pursuing “intentional awkwardness.” The meticulously crafted peg-driving scene
While this was actually Mr. Matsuzaka’s first time experiencing solo camping, he collaborated closely with the director for the tent “peg-driving” scene. They discussed precise angles and pressure to intentionally portray the unaccustomed, “amateur” feel of a beginner. Leveraging the freshness of his real-life first experience, he perfectly captured a relatable, life-sized portrayal of someone enjoying the trial-and-error process of camping.

Shooting Interview

Q: How do you feel about today’s shoot?
A: I’ve never actually been camping myself, so I was really happy and had a lot of fun getting to simulate a solo camping experience during this shoot. I was perhaps a little too relaxed—it might just be the most carefree and “laid-back” I’ve ever been on a commercial set. (laughs)
Q: What is the main highlight of this commercial that you want people to see?
A: It is incredibly light. Usually, when filming a commercial to introduce a product, there’s this strong conscious effort of “I need to convey the appeal of this item.” But it was so light that this conscious effort just kind of faded away. (laughs) I experienced a lightness that made me genuinely think, “Maybe I’m just actually out here camping.”
Q: What points did you find appealing in terms of functionality?
A: The fact that it has fewer parts, making washing up so easy. Since it features the Stopper with the integrated gasket, I think it can be used anywhere, regardless of location. For example, even when traveling, you don’t have to go out of your way to disassemble it, so it’s great that you can wash it quickly. I was really impressed that there’s no worry about losing parts, which makes it absolutely perfect for everyday use.
Q: “Immersion” is a key word in this commercial. What is Mr. Matsuzaka most immersed in right now?
A: “Horseback riding.” Right now, I’m working on it seriously in preparation for a historical drama series. Depending on my breathing with the horse and its physical condition that day, there are times when I can ride well and times when I can’t. That difference in condition is also fun, and I have a feeling I’m going to become completely immersed in it.
Q: Is there an episode recently that you suddenly remembered that “warmed your heart”?
A: While taking a walk at night, I happened to witness “the moment a shooting star burned and faded away” in the night sky. At the exact moment it disappeared, it burned incredibly bright, and then quietly faded out. It was such a rare and precious moment to see, so even remembering it now moves my heart; it was a wonderful, deeply moving experience.
Q: Where would you like to go taking this bottle with you?
A: Camping, of course, but I’d also like to take it on family outings. Because it is crafted with a Smooth rimmed mouth, I’d love to confidently let children use it too.
Q: Could you give a message to those who will watch the commercial?
A: I am Tori Matsuzaka, and I will be appearing in the commercial for Tiger’s Vacuum Insulated Bottles. Precisely because Tiger’s bottles are lightweight and their maintenance is so easy, they guide the user’s everyday life toward a lighter, more carefree feeling. Please do experience Tiger’s Vacuum Insulated Bottles in your everyday life—a product that Tiger Corporation has continued to evolve for over 100 years since its founding in 1923.

Tiger Corporation (President: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka), a global leader in thermal control technology, is proud to announce the launch of our new Vacuum Insulated Bottles (MKR-V, MTR-V, MMP-V, and MMZ-V series) on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Our previous models were born to solve everyday frustrations shared in customer surveys—such as hard-to-wash stoppers and heavy weights. By adopting the Stopper with the integrated gasket, introducing Dishwasher-safe convenience, and utilizing our proprietary weight-reduction technology, those models earned immense praise. Customers loved how “fewer parts make cleaning a breeze” and “carrying them is totally stress-free,” cementing their status as beloved long-sellers.
The new lineup continues this legacy of everyday comfort. They feature the same reliable Stopper with the integrated gasket and are entirely Dishwasher-safe for effortless maintenance. Furthermore, Tiger’s original spinning technology thins the inner wall to its absolute limit, achieving a magical, feather-like lightness. The MMP-V and MMZ-V series now stand among the lightest in their class of screw-top mugs featuring a Screw Lid with Integrated Gasket*.
*As of August 26, 2026. Compared to other screw-top mug bottles with an integrated gasket sold domestically in the same capacity (Based on in-house research).
For the MKR-V and MTR-V series, we pursued the ultimate drinking comfort by meticulously refining details like the shape and height of the spout. The MKR-V series has even been awarded the Ergonomic Design Certification from the Research Institute of Human Engineering for Quality Life.
