Concurrently with her appointment as Tiger Bottle Ambassador, new visuals and a new web commercial in which Ms. Naomi Watanabe promotes Tiger bottles will be released on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Tiger Corporation celebrated its 100th anniversary on February 3, 2023. The product that forms the base of Tiger Corporation’s founding is a vacuum bottle. With the vacuum-insulation technology that Tiger Corporation (“the company” or “we”) has developed for vacuum bottles for years, the company will keep providing new value with vacuum-insulated bottles under its four pledges, while protecting the environment, human rights, and health of people, toward its vision of spreading joyous harmony throughout the world for the next 100 years.

The four patterns of new visuals show how Ms. Naomi Watanabe, after she has entered the world of illustrations, uses a Tiger bottle in various everyday settings, embodying the catchphrase “Everytime, TIGER.” The new web commercial is a pop art work that matches the new visuals. The visuals and web commercial show the convenience of Tiger bottles through her comical acting of a character who enjoys using a Tiger bottle in various settings such as at home and work and on a beach. The new visuals and web commercial will be released in series through various media, including the official social media sites, stores handling the products, and advertisements.

The web commercial comically depicts settings where Ms. Naomi Watanabe enjoys drinks from a Tiger bottle in the world of illustrations, such as a hot drink while walking under snowfall on a street, a cold drink in blazing sunlight on a beach, and beer* at a BBQ garden. Along with the message, “# You are OK with just this single bottle,” the commercial expresses that you can enjoy your favorite drinks with just one bottle in various settings and in any weather and any temperature. At the end of the commercial, you can see her face with slightly different expressions, suggesting a wide variety of settings where Tiger bottles can be used.

1. Seizing on the 100th anniversary, we would like to try new things for Tiger bottles.
How do you feel and prepare yourself when you take on new things such as performing in a musical or walking on a runway?
When you are asked to try new things, you definitely feel uneasy. You may wonder whether you can make it because you have never done it before. For me, instead of deciding my limits based on my present self, I always take on new things I’ve never done before, hoping to see my future self and being excited about how far I can go. I imagine myself standing in front of the audience after trying hard to reach a goal even though my present self may not be able to do it. And, after trying, I’m like “Wow, I made it.” This makes me feel confident, driving me to try another new thing.
2. The new visuals to promote Tiger bottles are created as a new project where Ms. Watanabe enters the world of illustrations. How was the shooting?
Photos in various patterns were taken to see what settings the bottles would fit in. During the shooting, I posed while thinking that I would use the bottle in this way in a situation like this or it would be comfortable if I had the bottle in a situation like this. The illustrations are lovely and I think that the audience can easily understand how to use the bottles from the visuals.
3. The MKB-T series of vacuum-insulated bottles for carbonated drinks are our highly recommended products in this year. Could you let us know what you think about the bottles?
They are irresistible (laughs). Many people drink carbonated water, and it is very nice that they can keep it cold in a bottle for hours and drink it from the bottle. I want to let more and more people know about the bottles!
4. We would appreciate it if you could tell us what you think about our bottles other than the MKB-T series of vacuum-insulated bottles for carbonated drinks.
First of all, I didn’t know that so many types of bottles are available! My knowledge about vacuum bottles hasn’t changed since I was a kid (laughs) and so I am surprised to see there are so many bottles available out there that I can choose depending on the lifestyle and environment.
It’s really convenient to have several bottles and use them for different purposes. I was particularly interested in the bottles with a straw! If the spout is large, the contents may come out quickly or the spout may be stained heavily with lipstick. But this bottle is great as it makes it easy to drink the contents and is easy to clean. I wanted to use this large-capacity bottle when I performed in the musical… While I am playing sport or dancing, I sweat a lot and my body gets hot, so I always want to drink a cold beverage. So, this volume would be good enough. From now on, I will definitely use this in New York as well!
