Beware of Fraudulent “Impersonation Accounts” on Tiger’s Official SNS (X / Instagram / LINE)

We have recently confirmed the existence of several fake social media accounts impersonating the official Tiger Corporation SNS accounts (X, Instagram, and LINE).

These fraudulent accounts use our official profile images and mimic our usernames, bios, and posts to appear legitimate. Please be advised that these accounts have no affiliation whatsoever with Tiger Corporation.

Please exercise extreme caution regarding accounts with similar usernames that use slightly different alphanumeric characters.

Known Examples of Fraudulent Activity

• Impersonating Tiger employees to send Direct Messages (DMs) regarding “collaboration requests” and redirecting users to unrelated LINE accounts. (Some cases involve malicious tactics such as sending fake outsourcing contracts.)
• Sending DMs that masquerade as “winner notifications” for our gift campaigns, prompting users to enter credit card information or other sensitive data.
• Tiger Corporation will NEVER ask for credit card information via Direct Message for any campaign on X, Instagram, or LINE.

Requests to Our Customers

If you encounter a suspicious account, please take the following actions:

• Do not click on any URLs provided in the profile or via Direct Message.
• Reject any follow requests from impersonation accounts.
• Do not respond to requests for personal information.
• Block the fraudulent account.
• Delete the suspicious Direct Message.

If you receive a suspicious DM, please do not access the URL. To prevent further damage, we ask that you block the account or unfollow it immediately.

We have already reported these fake accounts as spam and impersonation to X, Instagram, and LINE. As similar accounts may appear in the future, we kindly ask you to always verify the username and remain vigilant.
