Tiger Corporation Exhibits for the First Time at “Regenerative Medicine JAPAN”
Held at Pacifico Yokohama from Wednesday, October 7 to Friday, October 9, 2026 –
Tiger Corporation (CEO: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka), a global leader in thermal control technology, has co-developed the “Vacuum Insulated Cell Pod,” a compact medical specimen transport container utilizing stainless steel vacuum insulation technology, in collaboration with Gaudi Clinical Inc. This initiative aims to advance the cell transport process in the regenerative medicine field.
To maintain a consistent temperature during transport, latent heat storage materials are used. Despite its compact size, it has successfully achieved exceptional temperature retention for its contents, maintaining the 20°C range for 24 hours and the 5°C range for 12 hours.
Our company will exhibit for the first time at “Regenerative Medicine JAPAN,” held at Pacifico Yokohama from Wednesday, October 7 to Friday, October 9, 2026. By showcasing the actual Cell Pod, we will proceed to cultivate transport needs for various medical specimens beyond cells, such as blood, urine, and testing reagents.

Regarding the Exhibition at Regenerative Medicine JAPAN
Exhibition: Regenerative Medicine JAPAN (https://jcd-expo.jp/jp/)
Dates: Wednesday, October 7 – Friday, October 9, 2026, 10:00 – 17:00
Venue: Pacifico Yokohama
Booth Number: R-47
Regenerative Medicine JAPAN is an exhibition aimed at accelerating research, development, and the industrialization of the regenerative medicine sector. It showcases a wide range of solutions, including products and services such as cell culture equipment, culture media, imaging systems, and CDMOs, which collectively form the ecosystem of the regenerative medicine business. Through related seminars and partnering with pharmaceutical R&D and business development professionals, the event strives to accelerate R&D and commercialization in this field.

Key Features of the “Vacuum Insulated Cell Pod”
In conventional cell transport, insulated transport boxes are frequently used. This limits transportation options and can create an operational burden when carrying specimens on public transportation or within medical facilities. Furthermore, when handling multiple specimens in a single container (mixed loading), there are concerns regarding the uncertainties and risks associated with inserting and removing specific specimens. To meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of regenerative medicine, there has been a strong demand for both operational flexibility and unwavering reliability.
The compact medical specimen transport container, “Vacuum Insulated Cell Pod,” jointly developed by Tiger Corporation and Gaudi Clinical Inc., was introduced into the cell transport process (collection/transport/preparation/delivery) for regenerative medicine as a demonstration experiment starting in April 2026. Regarding “temperature management,” “portability,” and “handling burden”—which are potential challenges in conventional transport methods—its effectiveness was strictly verified under actual operational environments. The potential to improve punctuality, reduce workload, and significantly lower the risk of cell mix-ups was successfully confirmed. Based on the results of this demonstration experiment, Tiger Corporation and Gaudi Clinical are advancing product improvements toward practical application in 2027.
① Reduced Transport Burden and Flexible Transportation Thanks to Lightweight design
Its compact size enables easy handling and excellent portability for individual specimens. Instead of relying on conventional transport by dedicated vehicles, it allows for flexible transportation methods, including public transit and hand-carrying. This has proven to improve on-time delivery by avoiding traffic congestion risks and streamline overall operations.

② Advancement of Temperature Control and Quality Assurance Systems
We verified the stability of temperature control, which is exceptionally critical in cell transport, under real-world operating conditions. Latent heat storage materials are used to maintain a constant temperature during transport. Despite its compact size, it successfully maintained the contents’ temperature in the 20°C range for 24 hours and the 5°C range for 12 hours.
A temperature logger manufactured by Pacific Industrial Co., Ltd. is built into the lid. Using the logger’s Bluetooth communication feature, it links with smartphones to acquire real-time temperature data during transport. It employs a system that triggers alerts if temperatures deviate from the specified range. All data is aggregated in the cloud, enabling centralized management at headquarters and clear visualization of temperature conditions during transport.

③ Optimizing Three Phases of Practical Operation
Collection Phase
(Medical Institutions)
[Eliminating On-site Burdens and Ensuring Safety]
- Specimens (blood, fat, etc.) collected at medical institutions are securely sealed into the Cell Pod.
- Confirmed absolute reliability and safety for storage in ultra-small spaces, as well as during the sealing and removal of specimens. Verified a reduction in staff workload through questionnaire surveys.
Preparation Phase
(Cell Processing Facilities)
[Diversifying Transport Methods and Improving Punctuality]
- Leveraging its small size and lightweight design, we introduced a delivery model utilizing hand-carrying and public transportation, rather than relying on dedicated vehicles.
- Verified the effects of avoiding traffic congestion to ensure on-time cellular manufacturing and delivery, while also saving time.
Delivery Phase
(Medical Institutions)
[Achieving Multi-Destination Delivery]
- Prepared products are delivered to medical institutions.
- Verified the feasibility of a “multi-drop” system, where a single delivery person safely carries multiple Cell Pods in a backpack to deliver to several locations simultaneously. Explored optimized delivery routes.
About Gaudi Clinical Co., Ltd.
Under the philosophy of “connecting the last mile of regenerative medicine,” the company promotes the construction of a regenerative medicine provision platform to deliver excellent technologies to patients safely and sustainably. Beyond merely providing technology, Gaudi Clinical develops “Cell Fulfillment,” a comprehensive system centered on the decentralized cell manufacturing and preparation room “KIOSK” and the treatment data management system “NEWTon.” In addition to quality control and logistics, it positions “education,” which raises literacy across the medical field, as a crucial pillar of its infrastructure. Through these initiatives, the company aims to transform regenerative medicine from a “special treatment” into a “standard, socially trusted treatment in local communities.”
