Electric Kettle PCT-A120/A150 To be released on September 21, 2025

Tiger Corporation (President: Yoshisato Kikuchi, Headquarters: Kadoma City, Osaka) (“Tiger” or “we”), a world leader in thermal control technology, will release the electric kettles PCT-A120/A150 on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

Electric kettles, which can quickly boil water at any time, have rapidly become popular in Japan since the 2000s for their convenience, and are now used not only to boil water for drinks and instant foods, but also to boil large quantities of water to shorten the cooking time of pasta and other noodles.

The new PCT-A model is part of the “Sugo Karu” series, which features a large capacity (1.2 L/1.5 L), yet is lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry even when boiling a large amount of water.

The products naturally have safety features, which are the key characteristics of our electric kettles. They are equipped with a lock function*1 to prevent accidental spillage when they are knocked over, and have a steam-saving design*2 to emit less steam, providing peace of mind when in use. In addition, the kettles boil one cup of water in approximately 59 seconds*3, allowing you to boil water quickly for busy mornings, sudden visitors, and breaks between hectic chores.

In addition, for the first time in Tiger’s electric kettles, a “spout cover” has been installed. The cover is hygienic, preventing dust from getting inside the kettle when not in use.

Thanks to Tiger’s proprietary technology, steam is guided through the shortest possible path to the steam detection sensor on the handle. The sensor quickly detects steam and turns off the power as soon as the water boils to achieve quick boiling.

The kettle allows you to boil water at an impressively quick rate for busy mornings, sudden visitors, and breaks between hectic chores.
