Far-infrared 5-layer heat sealing ceramic coated inner pot

“Heat sealing ceramic coated inner pot”

Ceramic coating is applied to the outside surface of the inner pot. In addition to the ceramic material coating, it incorporates hollow glass beads to improve heat storage performance. The high temperature inside the pot is maintained to bring out the sweetness of the rice. Far-infrared ceramic coating is applied to the inside surface of the pot, so that fine bubbles can be produced as if the rice was cooked in a clay pot, bringing out the stickiness and springiness of the rice, along with its flavor thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect. These coatings produce a delicious taste.

“5-layer inner pot”

Heat is evenly distributed in the pot, making each grain of the rice plump. The layers of different metals increase the thermal diffusion effect. The high heat generated by induction heating (IH) is quickly and directly transferred to the rice.

Pressure cooking for springy and firm textures

A pressure of approximately 1.25 atm is applied during cooking to raise the temperature inside the inner pot to approximately 106℃(222.8ºF)* to keep boiling at a high temperature, bringing out the stickiness and sweetness of the rice.

Express Limited cups menu

The setting to cook 0.5 to 2 cups in about 17 minutes (with JPK-W10W or 2 to 3 cups in about 20 minutes with JPK-W18W) is provided to allow you to eat freshly cooked rice on busy days. Thanks to the far-infrared radiation effect and heat storage performance of the heat sealing ceramic coated inner pot and the excellent heat conductivity of the multi-layered pot, heat is efficiently transferred to the rice in each of the water absorption, heating, and steaming processes, enabling a small amount of rice to be cooked quickly.
*The time required for cooking may vary depending on the type of rice and room and water temperatures. (Based on our research)

”Quick Cook”,”Slow Cook” and ”Soup” menus

On this setting, after putting ingredients in the rice cooker and selecting the time, all you have to do is wait until the rice cooker finishes cooking a dish automatically without a stove. Use this setting for preparing a meal on a day when you are not cooking rice or for preparing some dishes in advance on weekends.

QuickCook :
Select when cooking easy and quick dishes. After boiling, the rice cooker continues heating at high temperature. This setting is recommended for quick cooking. (Settable time: 1 to 30 min)

Slow Cook :
Select when cooking simmered dishes slowly. After boiling, the rice cooker decreases the heat and steam to simmer the contents slowly. This setting is suitable to let the ingredients absorb lots of flavor. (Settable time: 30 to 360 min)

Soup :
Temperature is controlled ideally to cook a soup. (Settable time: 5 to 180 min)

Glossy inner lid

The inner lid has a hydrophilic coating. The coating prevents droplets from forming and, when heated, the moisture quickly evaporates so that unwanted moisture can be removed. When the rice is kept warm in the rice cooker, the surface of the lid is covered with a film of moisture to keep the rice moist so that you can always enjoy the succulence of freshly cooked rice. Water does not form droplets easily on the coated surface and so water does not drip onto the cooked rice.

“Self Clean menu”

“Self Clean menu”* is best suited for removing smells and stains that remain after using the Mixed Rice and other cooking settings. This feature minimizes stains and smells inside the rice cooker, a place that is out of reach, with the power of steam.
*Odors may not be completely removed depending on the conditions.
