The late Takenori Kikuchi founded the original firm, Kikuchi Manufacturing Company in Nishi-ku, Osaka and started the manufacture of TIGER brand vacuum bottles.

The company joined with Japan Vacuum Flask Control Co., Ltd. due to World War II.

Kikuchi Manufacturing Company separated from the Japan Vacuum Flask Co.,Ltd. and started to manufacture household appliances and vacuum bottles again.
